Welcome to my creative space.
This website marks the beginning of something deeply personal: a journey into the world of visual art, where I’m learning to draw, paint, create—and eventually shape those skills into collections inspired by global stories, folklore, and myth.
I’ve always been fascinated by how art and storytelling intertwine. From ancient cave paintings to ceremonial jewellery, visual language has long been used to pass down meaning, culture, and imagination. I want to be part of that tradition—even if I’m starting from scratch.
Why I’m Doing This
For years, I admired the creativity of others and imagined what it would be like to bring my own visions to life. I followed artists, read myths, sketched occasionally—but I never gave myself permission to truly dive in.
Then one day, I stopped wondering and just began.
This site is my starting point: part journal, part sketchbook, part creative archive. It’s where I’ll document everything I’m learning, making, and dreaming up. The messy bits, the progress, the breakthroughs—and all the in-between moments of artistic growth.
A Vision Rooted in Story
At the heart of this journey is a deep love for stories and symbolism—especially those rooted in mythology, folklore, and forgotten tales from cultures around the world.
My long-term goal is to create art and jewellery collections that breathe new life into ancient narratives through sketch, colour, material, and form. These collections will be visual stories: pieces you can see, feel, and even wear.
I’m especially inspired by:
- Norse and Celtic symbols – rich in runes, knots, and ancestral energy
- Gods and Goddesses of Indian and Greek traditions – embodiments of nature, wisdom, and duality
- Animal spirits from Indigenous and Japanese folklore – guides and guardians from beyond the veil
- Stories whispered by stars, forests, and ruins – elemental forces and sacred places
These myths have endured across centuries. Through art, I want to reimagine them—sometimes in sketchbooks, sometimes in mixed media, and eventually as wearable storytelling through jewellery.
What to Expect Here
Right now, I’m a student of art in the purest sense—curious, committed, and figuring it out as I go. Here’s what you’ll find in this space:
Sketchbook Pages
Studies, figure drawings, thumbnails, character concepts, and explorations in line, form, and colour.
Art Experiments
Trying out different mediums—ink, watercolour, gouache, digital—and discovering what resonates.
Visual Storytelling
Early concepts for myth-inspired collections, along with thoughts on symbolism, world-building, and visual language.
Creative Reflections
Personal insights into the emotional and mental side of learning to create—what’s hard, what’s joyful, what keeps me going.
Myth & Folklore Inspiration
Bits of stories and cultural motifs that spark ideas, and how I’m working to honor and interpret them visually.
The Beauty of Starting
Being a beginner is vulnerable—and magical. There are days I feel completely lost, and others where something finally clicks. I’m not aiming for perfection. I’m aiming to be present, to stay curious, and to create from a place of wonder.
This is a slow, honest journey. And if you’re here reading this—whether you’re an artist, a mythology lover, or just someone who believes in starting—I’m grateful.
Let this be the first page of many.
Let the journey begin.
